The Color of 2016:
Rose Quartz and Faded Blues

Rose Quartz and Faded Blue is taking 2016 by storm. The warm tones of the pink are balanced out by the cool tranquil blue. They reflect a "connection and wellness sense of order and peace." Rose Quartz symbolizes a serene sunset, or a blooming flower. The Faded Blues symbolize the calmness, and the coziness of a summer day. These two colors also has a deeper meaning to its combination.
Along with the gender equality social movement, it is a form of expression.
This season's fashion mainly focuses on a unisex palette, as it is becoming today's hot topic. Both men's and women's color palette share no differences. It has open the eyes of the younger generations that are less concerned about being judged and with the world surrounding them. It gave us different perspectives of the color usage.
